Burt the Bashful is the very first boss in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and is the boss of the fort in the first world. He's also the first boss in Yoshi's Woolly World. A variation of him called "Burt The Ball" serves as the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th boss in Yoshi's Crafted World.

Appearance

1995/2003 Appearance

The Bashful's appearance matches that of all other Burts, with the exception of his abnormally large size caused by Kamek's magic, The way to defeat him is throwing Eggs at Burt to knock him over, and then Ground Pounding on him. You must repeat this 3 times.

2008 Appearance

There's a bashful called "Burt's Brother" In Yoshi's Island DS. His abilities is jumping up and down and is working with his brother.

2015 Appearance

In This Appearance, Burt is the second Boss in the game, even if the strength is the same but he uses a hiding technique with an doll.

2019 Appearance

In This Last Appearance Burt The Bashful Is being A Boss Using An Instant Ball, To Defeat Them Throw An Egg When The boss is near the River

Battle

He starts off at a normal size, but is enlarged by Kamek to a gigantic size. He then bounces around the room, which Yellow Yoshi must avoid. Whenever he's hit by an Egg, his pants come down a bit. When he jumps, Yellow Yoshi must duck under the platforms to avoid his attacks. When hit four to five times with an egg, Burt loses his pants, then blushes and turns red, before zooming off like a deflated balloon and soon dying of embarrassment.
