Pokies are recurring enemies in the Mario series. Their first Yoshi's Island series is Yoshi's New Island. In the Yoshi (series), they can be eaten. In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Yoshis can jump on their heads without getting hurt. They only die if your Yoshi hits or eats the head. In Super Mario Maker 2, if playing in the Snow Theme, a Pokey will become a Snow Pokey.
