Slime
Slime is an enemy in the Yoshi series debuting in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It's a gooey creature made of slime with two black eyes.
Game Appearances
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Slime appears in Tap-Tap the Red Nose's Fort and King Bowser's Castle carrying keys. They disguise themselves as rectangular blocks until Yoshi gets close, where it will morph into its true form. They do not damage him but pushes him back. If hit by Watermelon seeds or an egg, they get smaller. The same effect occurs if the Slime touches lava or spikes.
Yoshi's New Island
Slime appears in Yoshi's New Island. They are identical in attack pattern from the previous game. They are only encountered in the level Spray Day Mayday.
