Beehives are Bees' homes in the Yoshi series.

Yoshi's Story

In Yoshi's Story, if Yoshi or your colour walks past them, the Bees living in them will get mad, resulting in the Bees blocking Yoshi's path.

Super Mario Sunshine

In Super Mario Sunshine, Bees will get mad if Mario sprays water at the beehive. If Yoshi eats the Bees, however, Mario will be awarded with a Blue Coin, or a 1-UP Mushroom.
