Fishin' Lakitu

Fishin' Lakitu is an enemy in the Yoshi (series) debuting in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It's a Lakitu with a fishing hook that originally debuted in Super Mario World.

Super Mario World

Fishin' Lakitus appear in Super Mario World as a semi-common enemy. They carry a 1-Up Mushroom on their fishing rod and attempt to bait Mario and Yoshi into grabbing it before dropping an attack on them. If they succeed in getting the 1-Up Mushroom, the Fishin' Lakitu will start throwing Spiny Eggs which become Spinies just like a normal Lakitu. A similar variation to the Fishin' Lakitu called the Fishing Boo also appears in this game.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Fishin' Lakitu appears exclusively in the level Hookbill the Koopa's Castle. They attack by using the fishing hook to steal Baby Mario.

Yoshi's New Island

Fishin' Lakitu reappears in Yoshi's New Island, once again remaining unchanged from their previous appearance.
