A Grunt is a Bandit in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island that wears a spiky helmet instead of a mask. Their helmets can be knocked off with an egg, but they will run frantically. They are found in W4-4: Marching Milde's Fort, W6-1: Scary Skeleton Goonies, and W6-Extra: Castles: Masterpiece Set. Yoshi and his species can eat them.
Trivia
- They are one of the two Shy Guy species that show their faces. The other ones are Shy Guy Ghosts from Luigi's Mansion.
