Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Template:NonCanon Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a roleplaying game starring Mario and friends. It's the sequel to Paper Mario and the second in the franchise. Yoshi appears as a playable character, though his color is random. In a rare instance, Yoshi can actually speak English. Luigi is a non-playable character who goes on adventures of his own. The game got a Nintendo Switch Remake in May 2024.

After testing, it was discovered that Yoshi's color is actually determined by the amount of time the player takes to hatch them.
