Yoshi's Island

Template:Location infobox Yoshi's Island is the island where all of the Yoshis live peacefully. It was also revealed that this island is located the north of Koopa Kingdom, Bowser's domain.

Appearance

In the Yoshi (series), Yoshi's Island has many different types of landscape including grass, mountains, jungles and glaciers which had plenty of flora and fauna. In the Mario series, everything is extinct save for glass, forests, lakes and mountains. In Fortune Street, this is a board you can play on.

History

During Yoshi's adventures, this island was disturbed by Kamek when he wanted to kidnap Mario and the other babies and first invaded by Koopa Troop where they built Castles to be destroyed.

In the events of Super Mario World, this island was the location where Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach were taking a vacation until Bowser invaded to kidnap Peach for his new kingdom. This place is where Mario met with Yoshi when he was trapped in an egg, activated the first Yellow Palace Switch and Iggy Koopa invaded this island and built his castle to be first destroyed.
