Light Blue Yoshi (sometimes known as Sky Blue Yoshi or Cyan Yoshi) is a type of Yoshi found in several Yoshi games.

Appearances

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Light Blue Yoshis are used in the third level in each world in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, its port, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, its sequel, Yoshi's Island DS and in Yoshi's New Island.

Yoshi's Story

In Yoshi's Story, A young Light Blue Yoshi also appears as a playable character in Yoshi's Story. His favourite fruit is Grapes. He now has purple shoes that stuck throughout the Yoshi (series).

Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3

Exactly the same as in Super Mario World 2, except he has his purple shoes from Yoshi's Story.

Yoshi's Island DS

Like before, he's playable in the third level in each world.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Light Blue Yoshi appear also in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, where he's rideable like the other Yoshis.

Mario Tennis Open

Light Blue Yoshi is a playable downloadable character in Mario Tennis Open. His skill is Speed, like Blue Yoshi, Yoshi, Baby Mario,

Yoshi's Woolly World

Light Blue Yoshi reappears as a playable character in Yoshi's Woolly World. If the player is playing on file three, Light Blue Yoshi will be the default playable character, alongside Red Yoshi, who is always playable. It does not play differently when compared to other Yoshis. If the game is not played on file three, Light Blue Yoshi may be unlocked as a playable character by finishing the game.
